In both games of week 2, we saw two dominating efforts from two teams in both games.
Chelsea vs. Liverpool
After both teams came up short in the penalty shootouts last weekend, both came out in today's first match looking to stay away from an 0-2 start. Kyle Fasullo opened the scoring for Liverpool with a strike to put the home team up 1-0. Sal Maffei, entering his first game after his absence last weekend, struck the next and put Liverpool up 2-0. Adam Fournier would strike first for Chelsea to put them on the board at 2-1. However, it was all Liverpool, and all Sal Maffei. Liverpool lead by three at the half (4:7), however, Sal Maffei would add 4 more goals in the second half, along with an own goal by Adam Fournier, as the Reds routed the Blues, with a final of 6:13. Sal Maffei led all scorers with 8 goals.

Manchester United vs. Inter Milan
In the second match of the day, Inter would go to play Manchester United in a battle of unbeatens. Both teams looked to start off strong, at 2-0, however, Man U was without Matthew Whelan, a key defender. Taking his place was Grant Riera. Inter took full advantage of this, starting off a quick 3-0 run with Cal Abadin putting two in the net and Will Fitzpatrick adding his first of the season. Tony Fortier-Bensen put Man U on the board with his first of the game, making it 3-1. However, the stifling defense of Internazionale, and the fantastic keeping of Scott Naccari kept the Red Devils at bay as Inter rolled to a 5:13 win. Will Fitzpatrick led all scorers with 7, Cal Abadin had 5, and Evan Martin had an own goal.
